Singer/songwriter/arranger Shelley Rosenberg is a unique voice that emerged out of the Australian music scene eight years ago. A graduate of 2002 from the prestigious jazz course at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Shelley studied under the renowned Mike Nock and highly respected Judy Bailey (Order of Australia). Subsequent to her graduation, Shelley spent several years singing with several highly respected Australian artists.
As a writer with roots in jazz and soul, Shelley has spent the last two years focusing on her songwriting career collaborating with high profile writers and producers such as Mike Shapiro (Will I Am, Justin Timberlake), Guy Roche (Christina Aguillera), Marc Swersky (Joe Cocker, Hillary Duff), Charlie Midnight (James Brown, Joni Mitchell, Hilary Duff), 7 Aurelius (J-Lo, Ashanti, Ja Rule) and many more.
Prior to relocating to New York City in 2006, Shelley co-wrote and performed three tracks with electronica group, Endorphin who made their mark via the Café Del Mar series of releases.
In January 2006 Shelley signed a deal with BMG Music Publishing, and then a month later, wrote the theme song for the international kid’s show, “H20 – Just Add Water”, which first went to air in July 2006. "H20" has since gone to air in 115 countries around the world and was nominated for "Best Tv Show" at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards last October in London.
From jazz to pop, rock, soul, electronica, television and movies, Shelley is passionate about all genres of music. As a versatile songwriter, and a firm believer in musical experimentation, Shelley hopes to have a wide-spanning and varied musical career.
